The Rhino-Rack Backbone is a custom vehicle specific designed interior and exterior structure for the Jeep JT Gladiator Pickup Truck. The 2 mounting plates on each side of the fiberglass roof are connected to the interior frame and vehicles roll cage. Utilizing the interior structure, we have been able to allow for a maximum load rating of up to 220lb or 100kg on the roof.
Specifically designed for the Jeep JT Gladiator Pick Up truck, there’s no need to remove the canopy of your Gladiator when installing the Backbone.
Utilizing the interior structure, having the two mounting plates on either side of the fibreglass increases the Gladiator Backbone’s stability while allowing you to carry more weight. When installed in conjunction with a Pioneer Platform you can maximise your Jeep’s static load rating to 100kg/220lbs, so you never have to leave anything behind for your next adventure.
Although function is the priority, it doesn’t hurt that the Gladiator Backbone adds a stylish and bold statement to your vehicle. With an aerodynamic, low profile design, the backbone’s striking and solid construction is sure to turn heads. From the bush to the beach, the black powder coating of the backbone offers increased corrosion resistance so it can last throughout whatever environment you put it through.
