Rhino-Rack's Tania Marini lives and breathes the Victorian countryside. Her favourite places are in Northern Victoria where she says you get the best of both worlds mixing sport and relaxation. We caught up with Tania to find out how she makes space for adventure and to chat about her favourite things to see and do in Victoria.

What is it about 4WD adventures that keep you exploring?

The one thing that keeps me exploring is knowing how beautiful our country is. There are plenty of untold stories and pristine locations in Victoria and all around Australia to explore.

Where is your number one spot to go to in your state?

There are so many spots to pick from in Victoria, but my go-to place when I need a break from life is Echuca. It's a township on the Murray River and is one of Australia’s oldest river ports.

Is this spot family-friendly? Can you camp here?

Echuca is a family-friendly town with plenty of activities to do including cycling, fishing, bushwalking, bird watching, wining and dining. The area is especially great for water sports (water skiing, wakeboarding and canoeing). There are a number of accommodation options available, and for those looking to camp, there are free camping spots along the river or in the bush.

Any hidden secrets in this area that people may not be aware of?

Echuca have paddle steamers and working steam engines on display. You can also go on a river cruise on a paddle steamer.

How does Rhino-Rack complement your adventures?

Rhino-Rack completes our adventures by offering us a shade option with the Batwing Awning and also some added privacy with the Tapered Zip Extensions. We also love our fishing rod holders as this gives us a secure and safe mounting spot for our fishing rods without the dogs getting to them on our travels.

What is one thing you can't live without when going on an off-road adventure?

The one thing I can't live without on an adventure is my fishing rod, and also a good coffee to kick start the day.

What is one thing you wish you knew before getting into your adventures that you now know?

The one thing I wish I knew when I first started going on adventures is that you only need enough to get your through the trip. Don't bring the entire kitchen and sink!
